The Challenge

Food 4 Thought Community Outreach Services, Inc. is committed to reducing hunger and supporting families throughout Anne Arundel County and surrounding communities. The organization needed a promotional video to help bring greater awareness to its Monthly Community Outreach and communicate what the organization does for the people it serves. The challenge was to create something that went beyond simply announcing an outreach event. The video needed to communicate the people, compassion, energy, and community impact behind the organization—while encouraging members of the community to get involved.

Our Objective

The goal was to create a promotional piece that would:

  • Increase awareness of the Monthly Community Outreach

  • Communicate the organization's commitment to serving families

  • Create a reusable marketing asset for digital and social media promotion

THE CREATIVE APPROACH

Don't just tell people about the outreach. Let them experience it.

The creative approach centered around people and real moments.

Rather than making the video feel like a traditional nonprofit advertisement, the production focused on capturing the atmosphere of the outreach—volunteers serving, community members interacting, food being distributed, and the moments that demonstrate what happens when a community comes together.

The visual storytelling was designed to answer three simple questions:

Who is Food 4 Thought?

Who are they serving?

How can I become part of the mission?

The result was a promotional piece designed to make the viewer feel connected to the organization and its mission.
